2008 did not have a good start for us. The little girl was hospitalized on the night of Jan 1 due to gastroenteritis. It ws the longest day of my life as a mother. I was terrified. I never expected to be on the ER of UST again not as a patient but a companion of the patient.
2007 has been a year of so many changes for us as a family. Of course, the little girl is constantly growing healthtily (thank God!).
The husband and I decided to invest on real estate and to get him a big insurance to serve as our security blanket come retirement age. Also he bought a second hand car (through his transportation allowance from his company) in Kuwait.
Also at the last quarter my inlaws decided to leave us saying that I can now take care of Anevay on my own. It was difficult at first but something I decided to embrace since I am also having difficulty dealing with them because we have different beliefs and cultural background. I am more at peace now.
