I played baby sitter today to Luis and Buma. I let them tag along when we went to the Kumon Center. To pass time, we went to National Bookstore. I bought another story book for the little girl, two birthday cards for the husband and I saw a book that I am glad I was able to discover.

The series contains four books. They were written by Anne Gracie. And this are my current reads. I have read the first two and now I am down to the last two. I can’t say that they are really really good books but they are worth reading. But they did not make me swoon.
Here are the synopsis of the four books.
The Perfect Rake

After a week of reading almost all the books of Susan Mallery, now I am indulging into the world that is written by Judith McNaught. But I am trying to take a break from reading since my eyes are too tired right now. And seems I have gone over board with my reading appetite that I seems to not want to read right now. That’s why I am blogging.

I started obsessing on Susan Mallery’s book when I read the Marcelli Bride pocketbook. It’s a romance pocketbook about the Marcelli Family. I so love it that I went scouting on two different Book Sale branch and also National Bookstore branches. But when I bought my E63, I started searching for ebooks for the said author. Fortunately, I found a bunch of ebook. And now, I am obsessing on them. lol. As of this moment I have already finished the Buchanan Brothers series, Marcelli’s series and I am off to read all her books about the Sheik. haha. That’s why you won’t see me online. haha.

I just finished Eric Van Lustbader’s Bourne Legacy. And it made me quench for more Jason Bourne. Actually at first when I was reading the book I was getting a bit bored that I have to skip some few pages to get to the action part. And then I felt that there is something missing with the narrative. The book failed to make me wept when David Webb found Moris Panov and Alex Conklin dead on the later’s house. Also, I was not on the edge when the novel started and their was a gun man trying to shot David Webb.

Yesterday, the little girl and I went to one of our favorite hang out — a nearby bookstore that has a mat where kids can sit and read all children books with their hearts content. After finishing John Grishman’s Partner and Testament, I was craving to read some more. And since it’s Holy Week, I know the stores would be close on Thursday and Friday so that’s the reason of the trip to the bookstore.

If there is one series that I can never get tired of it would be the three books of Robert Ludlum about JASON BOURNE. Ever since I got hold of the books (yeah I have the BOURNE IDENTITY, BOURNE SUPREMACY and BOURNE ULTIMATUM), whenever I am bored i would get them from my book shelf and re read them. That’s how addicted I was to DAVID WEBB. lol. From there I started to collect every Robert Ludlum pocketbook I see on the bookstore. Do you know that I read all this books?
