Start of the Summer

I always love to splash on a swimming pool and a beach. But I never got so much chance to do it. And since I have been diagnosed with LUPUS, I grew afraid of the sun. Lupus patient cannot take prolong exposure to the sun and has to always put on sunblock or else it might lead us to a lupus flare.

Since Monday was declared a holiday, my sister asked us to joined them on their summer getaway in Subic. I was hesitant at first because I would have to spend a day without an internet connection but I told myself that it would be a breather. A way to relax my eyes. Good thing I was able to finish the drama I was watching before we went to Pampanga or else I won’t be able to relax. lol. Yeah, I know I am a drama addict.

The summer getaway with the family was nice. We were able to bond with my brother in law’s family. The kids were able to enjoy their time on the swimming pool. We were able to go to ZOOBIC but unfortunately it was too hot for us to handle that we decided to cut the zoo tour short. And now let me leave you with a pic of the little girl and I with a camel.

And this picture is shouting back at me that I really should be serious in losing weight. Look at the arms. Oh well.
