Time to Cook

Have to stop blogging first to gave way to my wifey duties. The husband is currently not at home right now because his boss called for a meeting. They needed to discuss a way to solved the machine problem they have encountered last week. It’s just me and the little at home. I am just keeping my fingers crossed that he will be home soon. So that we can still go out and shop. Wanted some salad but I only have the dressing. lol. NO veggies at all in our ref. haha. For now, let me cook lunch first. It’s way overdue.

Payment time

I am currently confused right now with the life insurance rate of the husband’s policy and it’s maturity date. All I know is that we already reached our fifth year. And I needed to contact our agent to confirm on this. I hope I am right. That this year would be our last year to pay. It would be a big relief on our part.

I hope NOT!

This week we were subject to sand storm, strong winds and heavy rains. The dust is making me cough hard but of course we don’t have a choice but to stay indoors. The husband was telling me that it does not rain much here the past couple of years that he have been here . I think it has something to do with the climate change.

Kuwait Towers

Last Thursday after having a hearty steak meal (again!) at Ruby Tuesday, we decided to go up the Kuwait Towers. Actually the husband has been bugging me for the longest time to consider going up but every time he come up to the idea I am already tired. So this time it was right.

What do you call that?

Aside from the crazy news that surrounds the May 10 election. There is a news that I cannot ignore. Imagine the personal manicurist of the President was appointed to the Board of Trustees of Pagibig. That entitles her to a 130K monthly salary and a 2m car plan. That is crazy. Just imagine that! I don’t know the credentials of the manicurist and I don’t belittle that profession but think of this. There are a lot of people out there who took their time to make sure they pass the PRC to be qualified for public office but out of nowhere the president appointed someone. Are there anymore qualified personnel in the field? H3ck! Just thinking out loud.

Steak @ Fridays

Before I go and look for some natural sleeping pills, I would want to share with you pictures of what I am currently addicted to. Since we are in a country that pork is prohibited, all I can do is find something that would satisfy my appetite. And though a bit expensive, I would consider it heaven if we go to Fridays for my steak therapy. lol. No kidding, for me to be happy I need to be able to eat steak at least once a week.

And aside from the steak, I love their chips that has cheese, tomatoes and cream in it as an appetizer.

Why Now?

I was reading the news the other day. Actually at first I was reading through the messages in Twitter. And since I follow most media organization at home I got the news straight from the FF browser. Anyway, I read about Hubert Webb’s request for DNA testing. And the government approved. I was thinking why only now? They should have done that a long time ago. I just hope this one would answer some questions not invoked more confusion.

MIA

A friend asked me why I am MIA for days now in Facebook. I don’t know but I am having lazy days and I can’t seem to find my enthusiasm to be online. Maybe because I am so hook up with the series Criminal Minds. I love the show. It focuses on the thinking of different individuals and sometimes how the medicine they take affects them ( for example extenze).

I am already on the 14th episode of the 2nd season. I decided to take a break from it since I am somewhat consumed of the show. That sometimes I dream about it. haha.

Election Madness

It was just a few weeks from now and we will have the presidential election. I am not a registered voter and I won’t be in the country on May 10. But I am still interested on what’s going on and is keeping abreast with the news through the internet. I also love reading twitter messages.

Protein

The husband is trying to analyzed my health condition right now. He said I might be lacking in potassium and protein. And so I am trying to search what kind of food should I eat. I don’t know if this would help but you can click here to know what I am talking about.

For now I am hungry. I wanted steak for dinner. But unfortunately the husband is not yet home. huhu. I am not sure if he is working late again. He told me he won’t be but the nature of his job is different. You just don’t know if he’ll have a late night. hmp.
