Tiring Day

It’s must 2pm Kuwait Time but I am already tired and sleepy. The little girl woke up late and then after eating her breakfast I told her we are going for a swim. We spend an hour in the pool down stair. I love the kiddie pool here. It’s not that deep and allows the little girl to swim with confidence. I am so tempted to used the sauna but that has to wait. I hope tomorrow I can wake up at 5am to do some minutes on the treadmill and bike. Then I’ll used the sauna. That is if I won’t be lazy. haha.

Holidays to Las Vegas

It is summer way back home. If we were there I would have been planning a trip with the family. But since the little girl and I are in Kuwait right now, we are contend to enjoy the unfamiliar country where the husband works. And so far, everything is good and turning out as plan. I hope this would also applies to our dream of going to other countries as well. You see we love to travel, we are looking forward to the day that w can enjoy some fun Las Vegas Holidays.

Enrollment

Before we went to Kuwait, I made sure that everything at home is covered. I even got my brother and his son a cash card so that if there are bills to pay, I can just transfer the money through internet banking. Days before our flight I was able to get the cards already. Then I enrolled them into my internet account and have the enrollment form printed, signed and sent to one of the bank’s branches. I was expecting that it’s only a few days until the enrollment is approved. Unfortunately I was wrong. Right now, I already send a letter to their support but I have not gotten any answer. And to top it all the bank is on holiday starting Thursday. So, I think my problem will be answered by next week.

Movie Marathon

What’s keeping me busy now ? Well, since I now know how to operate the tv that is connected to the dvd that is connected to the playstation that is connected to the pc, I can now watch the collection of movies here in the pad. lol. Yeah, at first I was so confused with all the remote control I have to press, I think three of them. The setup is somewhat complicated, but what would you expect. This pad houses two engineers. lol. You can even find a Symbol LS2208 here. No kidding.

Learning Arabic

I was telling the husband that in three months time the little girl might learn a few Arabic words and would be on her way to conversing on her second language. Why? Well, when she wants to watch TV, there is a channel here that somehow has cartoons from Playhouse Disney and Nick Jr. Yeah, just one station. Then at around 12pm onwards, the cartoons being shown are in Arabic (Goofy, The Replacements, Pumba and Timon etc). And you know how are kids. The don’t mind the language just the visuals. So, I won’t be surprised if one day the little girl would speak to me in Arabic.

Buying Stuff

Even if June is three months away, I am starting to buy stuff for my families and friends. I wish I can find some personalized gifts, something that I can give them and would mirror their personality. But those people way back home have already a list of things they wanted me to buy for them. lol. That includes the perfume and gadgets that are way cheaper here. And while shopping the husband would constantly remind that we only have 60kg for our baggage. lol. I told him if it’s in excess then let’s just ship it. hahaha. Since I am planning to buy a set of Teflon cookware. hmm.

My ALDO

One of my dream brand shoes is ALDO. I was hoping that someday I would own a shoes that has the said brand. And boy was I ecstatic that yesterday while we are heading inside the mall where we are scheduled to eat lunch that I saw the ALDO store and it is on sale! Imagine my luck! haha.

And so, I went inside. The blue sneakers already caught my attention but I was hesitant to buy it because of it’s color. But I don’t know I cannot get it out of my head. So, I told the husband that we go around for a while. WE went to different shops but my mind was still on the shoe. The husband told me to buy it already. haha.

Perfume Sale

Last night we went to the perfume sale in Masreef. The husband has been telling me about the sale even when I was in the Philippines. He would go to the sale and would buy a couple of perfumes that are on sale. Which in return we would give out to friends and family.

So last night I was excited. I feel like I would find used golf balls for free in our destination. I wanted to see for myself how much and what perfume are on sale. And really I was so happy of the prices. They are cheaper by 50% than those being sold in Duty Free.

Connection Problem

I wanted to post pictures on my entries but unfortunately it is taking ages to upload pictures in my blog as compared to just a few seconds if I am using my PLDT DSL conection at home. Actually I am not really sure why the connection is slow, if it’s with the internet company or because there are too many computers that are connected to the WIFI connection. There are times also that the security guard of the pad we are staying are disconnecting the cables so I don’t have a choice but to used the wireless usb of the husband. Which is also a bit slow ;(. Gawd! I miss for better connection. Please!

Shopping in Ikea

Ever since I saw the showroom of Ikea through it’s website, I started dreaming of being able to shop personally in one of their stores. I even buy Ikea stuff from multiply sellers. So, on our first day here in Kuwait, the husband fulfilled my dream. He have let me shop to my heart’s content in Ikea. Though at that time I was not in the mood I was so tired at that time and I am wishing I am a baby and would be put on a baby jogger city mini so that I can rest my aching fee. haha.
