10 Things on Your “To-Do” List

There are a lot of things that I wanted to do but here are my top 10 :

1. Diet and Exercise
2. Clean our house and mop the floor
3. Start baking again
4. Create photobooks and have the printed for my nieces graduation
5. Print the 2nd year pictures of my daughter
6. Create photobook for my daughter’s 2nd year
7. Fold the wash clothes
8. Go to the grocery
9. Start buying the stuff my daughter needs for her summer trial class
10. Start my new project

WS : 2×2 and 1×1

Last Friday, the swimming school where the little girl is enrolled called up and asked me to bring either a 2×2 or 1×1 picture of my daughter this Monday. Since I don’t have any and I figured that we might need the pictures in the future (for preschool) we went to a nearby mall to have her picture taken. At first it was a struggle to get a shot of her but fortunately she obeyed me.

And here she is, my little preschooler ( 2 years and 8 months).

Road to Frugality

I have been stumbling on articles that focuses on being frugal. Most of these entries are written by mothers who are determined to cut back on their expenses in every possible way they can. I admit when I become a wife and later a mother I was not really paying much attention to our expenses. But later this year when I saw that the all the funds that I am putting in our savings account is on its way to being used up plus the news of the global economic crisis, I started to become aware of our expenditures.

Ballet Lessons (Marikina Area)

Except for swimming, I also wanted to enroll my little girl in ballet lessons since she really is fond of dancing on her tip toes. She loves to imitate June of Little Einsteins. But the swimming lessons came first and then also the trial class. But when I checked our schedule for this summer I realized that there are weeks that we don’t have any activity. So I am now contemplating if I would enroll her on ballet. Here are the two lessons I found that are just close to our house.

Now that we have finished the first week of the little girl’s swimming lesson I can still say that I am still excited on the coming months. The swimming lessons is a blend of fun and frustration because the little girl is indeed learning but along the way she would cry and asked for me. Hopefully next week which is also our last week she would gain more confidence to be by herself on the pool.

Shoo Away!

It’s annoying that when I open up my wordpress dashboard I always found a growing number of spam that my akismet was able to screen. It would be nice if the screening is 100% accurate but unfortunately some real comments are also considered by akismet as spam so I need to look into the spam one by one to make sure that I got everything correctly but when I saw 100+ spam I clicked the delete all button. I just can’t get it. There are really robots out there that were created to spread inconvenience in the net. Oh well, I tried the word verification thingy but it also proves to be unsuccessful. For now, I just have to rely on akismet and the delete all button.

Wish List

Although before I was saying that I don’t want any gift for my upcoming birthday this May somehow I changed my mind. haha. And this is because of the chat I had with the husband last week. We were just actually discussing what I would be doing during the time I would be waiting for the little girl as she attend her two hour class in prep school. He told me that I should bring my laptop along but I answered him that it won’t be possible because the battery of my laptop conked up that I needed it to be plug before boot up. So he told me he would buy me a pocket pc. Sounds tempting, right? Actually he is offering to buy me this…But I told him I also need a new cellphone because one of my cellphone is malfunctioning already. The one that I always used. So, I was thinking I’d rather buy a cellphone than the pocket pc because I just bought a desktop last December and my laptop (except for the battery) is still in good working condition.

LP 51 : Sapatos (Shoes)

Dati’y mahilig akong mangolekta ng sapatos (sino ba namang babae ang hindi, d ba?), ngunit nung akoý magkaLUPUS at maging sensitibo ang aking paa nawalan na kong ganang mangolekta. Sapagkat lahat ng nabibili kong sapatos (mura man o mamahalin) ay isa lang ang resulta — matinding sakit sa paa na konti na lamang ay piliin kong gumapang kesa maglakad dahil sa sakit.

{Before I love to collect shoes (of course all woman love to, right?), but when I had LUPUS and my feet started to become sensitive I lose the appetite to collect. Because all the shoes that I bought (may it be expensive or cheap) it only have one result – severe foot pain that sometimes I thought of just crawling rather that walking because of the pain}

Prioritize

This has been a nagging thought lately — create website. It has been weeks since I bought yet another domain but until now I haven’t not done anything about it. I bought it for the sole purpose of doing a little experiment that I formulated months ago. Well, I am someone who wanted to explore new things so now that I am into using the world wide web to my advantage I thought why not do something out of the ordinary.
